Congressman Crenshaw says children with gender dysphoria deserve care and compassion

Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw says supporting his Do No Harm in Medicaid Act, which would prohibit Federal Medicaid funding for gender transition procedures for minors, that children suffering gender dysphoria deserved care and compassion but that did not mean putting them on a pathway that led to irreversible harm, and the evidence was in therapy and family care, and the Do No Harm in Medicaid Act drew a clear moral line as the government would not participate in, endorse or normalize irreversible chemical surgeries and interventions on minors, and it was codifying President Trump's agenda to protect their children and keep them healthy, and Medicaid would not fund this abomination, and contrary to what many of the claims were it preserved narrow exceptions for medical conditions like early onset puberty and treatment of complications, and this was a carefully crafted bill that addressed all of the concerns that had been made.
