Congressman Cohen reacts to Trump renaming Peace Institute building as ego continues to stain Capital buildings
Tennessee Congressman Steve Cohen says in House floor remarks that the United States Institute of Peace was created by the Congress of the United States and served a function of trying to bring people together, but in February President Trump issued an executive order dismantling the United States Peace Institute, and law enforcement moved the president of the Institute forcibly from his office, and then recently President Trump had his name in massive letters put over the peace Institute calling it the Donald J Trump Peace Institute, Cohen asking when Trump's ego over covering structures from the Roosevelt in Washington, DC, would stop.
