Police Standoff in San Francisco
On July 6th 2016 a man refused to cooperate with San Francisco police while he was in an altered state in the Tenderloin neighborhood. So a stand-off ensued after that encounter. It took approximately 3.5 hours to arrest the perpetrator. Police used a loud sound to disorient the perpetrator. Meanwhile people in the crowd taunted the police.
