North Korean defector drawing
North Korean defector and cartoonist Choi Sung-Guk sketching images of people escaping from North Korea based on true stories on a computer at his home in the city of Gwangmyeong in Gyeonggi Province near Seoul South Korea. Choi, who spent eight years making cartoons at Pyongyang's SEK animation studio, now narrates his life as a North Korean refugee through a weekly online comic strip, or "webtoon" on South Korea's largest internet portal, Naver.
