The tram is being driven by a driver under instruction and stops at tram stops as it would if in service. The 'Threepenny Bit Building is one of the local names for No. 1 Croydon, which has also been known as the NLA Tower, The 50p Building and The Wedding Cake, because of its unusual shape. It was completed in 1970 and is rather a 'love it or hate it' construction!
