This area, Nambung National Park, contains thousands of weathered limestone pillars. The tallest pinnacles reach heights of up to 3.5 m above the sand base. The different formations include pinnacles which are much taller than they are wide and resemble columns while others are a meter in height and width resembling, short tombstones.
The Nambung National Park is adjacent the city of Cervantes in Western Australia.
