YICHANG, CHINA - JUNE 5: (CHINA OUT) A worker walks atop the cofferdam in the Three Gorges on June 5, 2006 in Yichang of Hubei Province, China. Demolition experts finished setting the explosives on June 2, that will be used to demolish the last cofferdam built during the construction of the Three Gorges Dam. A total of 192 tons of dynamite, reportedly, was placed in more than 1,700 locations, and workers installed monitoring equipment to ensure the safe demolition. The 140-meter-high (about 459 feet) and 580-meter-long (about 1902 feet) cofferdam, 114 meters (about 374 feet) upstream of the Three Gorges Dam, is scheduled to be brought down on June 6, according to state media.
