Murders in Lincolnshire

Police officers and a sniffer dog continue to search the area close to the scene of a double murder at a house in Radio St Peters, in Trusthorpe, near Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire. A couple gunned down in their seaside bungalow may have been the victims of a revenge attack for another killing. The pair, believed to be in their 50s, were related to jailed killer Michael O'Brien, according to police sources. O'Brien was convicted of shooting dead a man outside a Nottingham pub in 2003 in a case of mistaken identity. Seemingly uncaring, he went on to threaten the victim's family in court.
