Home Guard Theatre
Members of the Home Guard, the home defence division of the British Army, enact a play during World War II, 1941. Major Liddell, MC, Commanding Officer of a Shropshire Home Guard battalion, plays the part of a Nazi parachutist being interrogated by a Home Guard officer. The play, written by HG staff officers of the Western Command and enacted by men of the King's Shropshire Light Infantry, is being performed for Home Guard audiences.
