Civilian Casualty During Siege of Sarajevo
A man mourns next to the body of a civilian victim of the siege of Sarajevo who was killed by a sniper during the Yugoslavian Civil War. The siege of the city continued until a cease-fire in October 1995, and was officially brought to an end after the signing of the Dayton agreements in November and a peace agreement in December. Shortly afterwards, the Bosnian Serb population began to leave the city. (Photo by Antoine GYORI/Sygma via Getty Images)
