John Hurt and his partner Marie-Lise Volpeliere-Pierrot arrive for the premiere of 10 Rillington Place, at The Columbia theatre, Shaftsebury Avenue, London, W1. In the film, which is set in West London in the mid to late 1940s, John Hurt plays illiterate Timothy Evans, who under stress wrongly confesses to a murder he did not commit, and hangs.
