This is a Reef Octopus (Octapus cyanea) aka Day Octopus, Cyane's Octopus or big blue Octopus. Unlike most Octopus, this species feeds by day. They are know for building safe places in which to hide. As seen here, the Octopus can change the colour of it’s skin to blend in with its surroundings to camouflage itself, whilst awaiting its prey. Footage taken in Ko Haa, Krabi province, Thailand.
