Peoples Temple Attorney Charles Garry re: guns at Jonestown
Peoples Town attorney speaks about the guns that were used to shoot and kill Representative (D-CA) Leo Ryan and others after their visit to the Jonestown commune on behalf of families who worried that Peoples Temple cult members were being brainwashed or held against their will. Garry says "I'd been there twice before I did not see any guns. I did not see anything that even resembled guns, as a matter of fact we did not see any guns till all of this started. Apparently they had it cased away someplace about 8 or 10 guns. It's one of the saddest moments in world history" This interview is after the mass suicide of over 900 people in 1978 who lived in Jonestown.
