Turkey sings national anthem to mark Children's Day

ANKARA/ANTALYA, TURKEY - APRIL 23: Among the most popular superheroes of our time are Superman and Spiderman, who are nowadays helping and entertaining children as they are not allowed to go out as part of measures to stop the spread of coronavirus. The two fictional characters are known for their superhuman powers such as super speed and incredible strength. Driving his motivation from Superman's helping a lot of people, a Turkish doctor in Ankara province puts on his costume and visits kids at home. "We offer home health care and visit patients, either kids or adults, with diseases or chronic illnesses. Nowadays, I wear my Superman costume both to entertain them and examine them," he says. Similarly, a young man in southern Antalya province reaches the kids in Spiderman disguise. Burak Soylu, 27, goes out to the streets and conducts acrobatic moves to entertain the kids, who would normally go out to children's park in order to play with their friends. Stating that he does not have any superhuman powers, he says his only super power is to help the people. Unfortunately, children in Turkey are not able to spend time with their peers due to curfew imposed on them in early April. The curfew, which restricts members of the public under age 20 from leaving their homes except if absolutely necessary, has mostly affected the kids at the play age.Experts warn that children may get more aggressive and unhappier as the duration of social isolation gets longer due to coronavirus epidemic. They suggest more play time and communication with family members. (Footage by Anadolu Agency via Getty Images)
