These crooked historic houses alongside the Damrak canal are known as the Dancing Houses of the Damrak and also as the "Wet Damrak", and are an iconic symbol of the city of Amsterdam. The Damrak is a large road and a canal at the centre of Amsterdam . Is used today as a mooring place for excursions boats.
