Kailasa Temple in Ellora Caves is 30 kilometers northwest of Aurangabad in Maharashtra state India. They were carved inside a giant rock monolith, they are UNESCO World Heritage Site They are one of the largest rock-cut, monastery-temple cave complexes in the world, featuring Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain monuments, there are 34 caves at Ellora, dating back to between the 6th and 11th centuries AD.
