Spy released records
A worker at the public records office at Kew, south west London, looking through the file of 'Mutt and Jeff' (Cockney rhyming slang for deaf), Norwegian spies who's real names were Helge Moe (pictured, top left), and Tor Glad (pictured, centre). * Both spies worked for Germany in April 1941, but were 'turned' by MI5 to spy for Britain as double agents. This is one of 311 files to be released by the records office, about the work of the security services. This the ninth and largest Security service release, brings the total number of MI5 records in the public domain to 1,643. (Photo by John Stillwell - PA Images/PA Images via Getty Images)
