Doctors Picketing
(Original Caption) Chicago: The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, (NAACP), convention turned to picketing and political action planning here, July 3. Thirty physicians and laymen attending the NAACP's convention were assigned to march in front of the Chicago headquarters of the American Medical Association, (AMA), in protest of "ineffective approach to the problems of segregation and inequality in the field of health."
