Sudbury, ON- April 15 - Environment Masters student Lianne Girard had one of her supervisors choose to take early retirement, and the other supervisor was terminated. Her main thesis supervisor brought in about a million dollars in research funding, which has now disappeared. Girard has a big upcoming environmental research program in Peru. Peruvian academics reached out to the university because of Laurentians reputation in the field.
