Corporal Turnesa, sixth son of a golfing family, yesterday defeated the great Byron Nelson, and Snead beat Jimmy Demaret to go into his third PGA final. Sam has signed up with the Navy and will be inducted early next week, so his duel with Turnesa will be a battle of the services.
