(Original Caption) 1948-New Haven, CT- George Bush (R) welcomes Babe Ruth (L) at a pre-game ceremony in 1948 at the Yale University field. Bush, captain of the 1948 varsity baseball team, presented a special citation to the "Babe" and in return the legendary home-run king presented a manuscript of The Babe Ruth Story, his biography, for the Yale archives.
