(Original Caption) Nashua, urged on by Eddie Arcaro, leads Saratoga with Mainlander trailing, as they passed the club house the first time around in the Dwyer Stakes at Aquaduct Park today. The field of three horses finished the mile and a quarter classic in the same order, except that Nashua extended his lead to four lengths in the stretch. The winner covered the course in 2:03-4.. The victory added $37,200 to Nashua's earnings, making him the fifth largest money-winning thoroughbred of all time. His total winnings are $690,890.
