The Minoan Palace Of Ancinent Knossos In Heraklion, Greece
Ancient Knossos with the Minoan palace, the largest archaeological site of the Bronze Age on Crete island, Knosos near Heraklion is known as Europe's oldest city. Knossos was discovered by archaeologist Arthur Evans at the begging of the 20th century. Knossos is widely known for the throne, the Minotaur Myth and the fresco paintings with the most famous the Bastion A at the North Entrance, the bull fresco. Crowds of people are seen walking on the paved routes, locals and foreign tourists are visiting the Minoan Palace on a warm sunny summer day, as the monument has increased numbers of visitors as it opened and operates normally after the covid-19 coronavirus pandemic without restrictions.
