(Original Caption) American bobsledder Edgar Seymour of Rochester, N.Y., grimaces in pain after severely injuring his right leg during the Olympic competition. He was the brakeman on the U.S. Number Two sled, driven by Art Tyler, also of Rochester, who's kneeling at left. The bobsled event was won by Italy. Tyler's sled was placed sixth.
