Supermarkets Urged To Have Plastic Free Aisles

VOICED: Supermarkets are being asked to create a plastic-free aisle in every store to help reduce the amount of packaging that ends up in the sea. It's estimated that 300 million tons of plastic are produced globally each year and only 12 percent is recycled. Much of the waste is eventually washed into the oceans with devastating consequences for marine wildlife. Interviews with Pip Sadler, customer, Sian Sutherland and John Grayson, owner of Earth Natural Foods shop on February 11th 2017 in Kentish Town, London, England
