Southern Rail dispute: Union agrees to suspend strikes in return for new talks

Southern Rail dispute: Union agrees to suspend strikes in return for new talks; ENGLAND: London: EXT Chris Philp MP (Con: Croydon South) interview SOT - We do need to bring these strikes to an end, if we can't sort this out I have proposed legislation to make it harder to hold strikes on critical public infrastructure, to get a High Court judge to decide whether a particular strike is reasonable and proportionate or not, but I hope we can get a negotiated settlement and the government will be investing significant money in the Southern Railway infrastructure, that will help too / I want to see this appalling service getting back to normal as quickly as possible
