Senator Graham Floor Statement on Sessions Attorney General Nomination

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham says after the Senate voted to limit debate on the nomination of colleague Senator Jeff Sessions to be Attorney General of the United States that he agrees with an African American legislator from the State of Alabama who supports Sessions, that Graham would get a lot of coverage for similarly offering support to a political opponent because that makes for good political reporting. Graham says that in a time of distinguishing between wartime and domestic legal rights such as reading Miranda to terrorists, he looks forward to vote for senator Sessions, concluding that the Senate is adrift, the country is really divided, but that he cannot be convinced that Jeff Sessions is not qualified to be the Attorney General.
