Civilians and soldiers hit the ground and take cover as sirens went off during after a grad missile was launched from Gaza during the funeral of Staff Sgt. Alex Mashavisky in the military cemetery of the southern Israeli town of Beersheba. Mashavisky was killed Jan. 6, during the Israeli army operations in the Gaza Strip. Six Israeli soldiers had been killed and more than 670 Palestinians killed so far in the operation, according to Palestinian and U.N. figures.
