Kyriakos Mitsotakis, a member of the Hellenic Parliament for Athens B area, shocked the country's political establishment Sunday night after taking a victory in a nationwide vote to become leader of the conservative New Democracy party, the main opposition party to leftist prime minister Alexis Tsipras.
