A Hopeful Candlelight Vigil For Missing University of Virginia Student

ALEXANDRIA, VA - SEPTEMBER 24: Starkist candies and wristband were handed out along with a program at a virtual candlelight vigil for missing Univ. of Virginia student Hannah Graham at West Potomac High School in Alexandria, VA on September 24, 2014. Graham went to West Potomac High, played softball there and was in the band. Hundreds turned out in a show of hope that Graham will be found safe. The 18-year-old was last seen on September 13th walking in the Downtown Mall district in Charlottesville, VA. Police have issued an arrest warrant for Jesse Leroy Matthew Jr., 32, whom they believe took her against her will. Police say a surveillance video shows Matthews walking with Graham in the area shortly after 1:00 a.m. The outside vigil was moved indoors to a school cafeteria prompting the use of artificial candlelight in lieu of the real thing.
