Caption: KOZMINO, RUSSIA-JANUARY 21, 2013: Russian President Vladimir Putin commissioned the East Siberia–Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline’s second line on December 25, 2012, marking the completion of the project’s second phase. The 4,740-kilometer Transneft-operated pipeline starts in Taishet in the Irkutsk region and runs through the Siberian city of Skovorodino before terminating at the Far Eastern port of Kozmino, located approximately 100 kilometers east-southeast of Vladivostok. Coinciding with the completion of Phase Two, Berth Number 2 at the oil terminal was commissioned in November and allows Specialized Marine Oil Terminal Kozmino to accommodate 120,000DWT tankers and load up to 300,000 barrels per day.
