In the early morning fog, an Israeli soldier partially closes a barrier across a road, on Mount Hermon in the northern Israel occupied Golan Heights on May 15, 2013, after two projectiles fired from Syria hit Mount Hermon without causing damage or injuries, an Israeli army spokeswoman told AFP. Israel, which is technically at war with Syria, seized 1,200 square kilometres (460 square miles) of the strategic Golan Heights during the 1967 Six-Day War, which it later annexed in a move never recognised by the international community.
